All products come with easy instructions. Just follow the directions: Some hors d’oeuvres are freezer to oven (without having to defrost); Canapés are thaw (for 1.5 – 2 hours) and serve. Keep and serve products at the appropriate temperature. Some Hors d’oeuvres can be kept warm in chafing dishes and Cold canapés can be served in stylish platters or trays.
It depends on the duration of the event:
Heavy Hors D’Oeuvres served in lieu of dinner: plan on 6 pieces per person for the first hour, 5 for the second hour, 4 for the third hour and 3 per hour for each additional hours.
Light Hors D’Oeuvres served prior to dinner: a good average is 4 to 8 pieces per person.
Appetizers that are not pieces, such as cheese and dips, one ounce is equivalent to one bite.
It depends on the type event:
Butler Style – Elegant affairs: hors d’oeuvres are passed around on trays.
Buffet Style – Interactive events: hors d’oeuvres are displayed at different tables spread out at the location. Casual Buffett: hors d’oeuvres could be displayed on different trays/ chaffer on a central table.
Most of delicious products have a shelf life of one year when stored at 0 degrees.

At least four to six different types of appetizers should be offered to provide a variety of flavors, shapes and textures. Think puff pastry items, fillo items, crown, bacon wrapped and skewered items. Also consider a variety of classic, ethnic: Mediterranean, Asian, and Latin items.

Absolutely! We are more than happy to attach a greeting card (free of course) with a message you personalize. Also, if you can send us your business card in advance we will include that with your selection.
We only ship to residential and business addresses (no P.O. Box ). Please have someone available to accept delivery. If you’re not sure someone will be home to receive your order, may we suggest shipping it to an alternative address. Upon arrival, place product trays in the freezer immediately.
Order by 11:00 am EST for next day delivery. We ship Monday through Thursday. Saturday deliveries are possible with additional UPS shipping fee.
Most of our products are shipped via UPS. To preserve the quality of perishable food items we ship overnight (in a reusable temperature controlled insulated container with dry ice or gel pack). Rates for overnight shipping are expensive.
